Borderline, the charity which helps homeless Scots in London, has won the award for Best Annual Report in the Third Sector Excellence Awards.

The Scottish charity is currently partnering with the Church of Scotland Guild for its "Let's Live: Body, Mind and Soul" strategy until 2009.

The Third Sector Excellence Awards were open to all charities in the UK and are regarded as the "Oscars" of the voluntary sector.

Borderline's Annual Report for 2006 is titled "Looking forward, looking back" and was designed pro bono by Andrew Ross.

The award was presented to Borderline on Thursday night at a ceremony at the Hurlingham Club in London.

Alan Mackie, Chairman of Borderline, said, "It is thrilling that a small charity such as Borderline has won such a prestigious award. I am absolutely delighted that our work has been recognised in this way."
