BRUSSELS - Britain should resume exports of live animals, meat and dairy products next week after the EU eased its trade restrictions imposed due to foot and mouth outbreaks, the UK's deputy chief veterinary officer said on Thursday.

EU vets could be expected to clear all British exports from Sept. 11 or 12, he said. Earlier on Thursday, they agreed to let all of Britain, except part of Surrey, resume exports of live animals, meat and dairy products to EU states.
