She cemented her place as one of the most respected female worship artists with her self-titled debut album back in 2009.
Now she’s topped the iTunes overall album chart with her follow-up album just one day after its release.
Where I Find You has been well received by fans and critics alike and has also claimed the No 1 spot on the iTunes Christian and Gospel chart.
The first single release from the album, “We Are”, has become a Billboard Top 10 hit and a live acoustic version of the song has been viewed nearly half a million times.
Kari is happy with where her music is right now.
“These songs come from such an honest place of praising God for what He’s done – and what He’s continuing to do in our lives – because His grace and goodness,” she shares.
“Ultimately, it’s about declaring who He is and enjoying the simplicity of knowing the Lord is near. He’s for us, He loves us, and sometimes we need to just stop, enjoy His presence and take that in.”
Kari continues to lead worship at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, and is currently touring the US as part of the Winter Jam 2012 Tour.
