LONDON (Reuters) - Utility Severn Trent said on Thursday the Serious Fraud Office is to charge its water division with three offences relating to leakage data supplied to water regulator Ofwat between 2000 and 2002.

"The new board has co-operated fully with the SFO during the investigation. We will now study carefully the details of the charges which relate to the responsibilities of a previous regime," Chief Executive Tony Wray said in a statement, adding no individual had been charged with any offences.
