Sydus, one of the world’s largest service and technology companies in mobile music, has teamed up with Barnabas Road Media Inc to bring contemporary Christian music to Christians all around the world.

Christians can now listen to their favourite Christian artists on their mobile phones free of charge via Sydus’ live streaming audio service.

“No other provider of Internet Christian music is doing anything we’re doing,” said Paul Gathard, CEO at Barnabus Road Media.

“This collaboration with Sydus is truly revolutionary for the industry because users won’t need to pay for downloaded songs or subscribe to a fee-based service.”

Sydus will provide the service, the first of its kind, to over 65 million handsets in over 90 countries worldwide.

“With Sydus’ MobileRadio technology, ChristianMusic1.com will build a contemporary Christian mobile music lifestyle, truly uniting Christian believers globally and connecting them with their passion, no matter where they may be, on a simple yet most personal platform: the mobile phone,” explained Saumil Nanavati, President of Sydus.

The Sydus software for the CM1 mobile broadcast can be downloaded free of charge at ChristianMusic1.com, with users also able to download the mobile media player directly onto their mobile phones at CM1m.com.

Barnabus Road Media will launch ChristianMusic1.com and CM1.com ahead of the Radio and Records Christian Summit to be held 8 to 11 December in Nashville Tennessee.

Barnabus Road Media, a provider of Internet hosting for simulcast radio broadcasting, is the endorsed Internet Technology Provider of the Christian Music Broadcaster’s Association in the U.S.
