A Taiwanese Council for World Mission (CWM) missionary in the UK has been serving the community by ministering to Chinese-speaking students attending university in Manchester, CWM said.

Rev Shou-Hui Chung of the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan regularly meets Mandarin-speaking students through her work as chaplain at the St Peter's Church in Manchester, which is sponsored by the Anglican, Baptist, Methodist, and CWM-member United Reformed Church.

Chung, who begun serving there in August 2006, runs conferences and training, leads church services and supervises the Manchester Mandarin Student Christian Movement's Friday activities and meals. She helps with a Mandarin choir and is planning to organise a support group for couples.
