If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ,
if any comfort from his love,
if any fellowship with the Spirit,
if any tenderness and compassion,

then make my joy complete by being like-minded,
having the same love,
being one in spirit and purpose.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit,
but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

Phillippians 2:1-3

Christ came and humbled himself before us. He lowered and God raised him. It is a mystery to us.

He died, yet he lived again.

He loved us and served us till the end; washing his own disciples' feet.

If everyone of us, could have this same heart of Christ, wouldn't life be a different experience?

Instead of having to think about my own needs, and my own problems, switching it to someone else's, and also to God's.

Isn't it that our lives would become much greater?

Considering others better then ourselves, wanting to serve and make others happy.

'That person is more important than me'
'That person deserves better than me'

Isn't it true? We live our lives as sinners, and there is nothing great about us, so laying ourselves down for others, this is when we find a greater joy inside of us.

Let us make the joy complete, and become one in heart, spirit and purpose, with Christ.

Jesus Christ is really the perfect example of humility. He humlbled Himself by serving His people fairly without any discrimination, to show to the world what pleases God the Father. And do our purpose and mission in this world in Christ-like character. We own nothing. Everything that we had is God's given gift and graces. He deserves all our glory and praises, and exalt His name to the whole world.
