Three men appeared in court on Friday to deny charges of conspiring with the four July 7 suicide bombers who carried out attacks on London's transport system in 2005.

Mohammed Shakil, 31, Sadeer Saleem, 27, and Waheed Ali, 24, all from Beeston, Leeds, appeared at the Old Bailey via videolink from Belmarsh Prison.

The three defendants showed no emotion during the brief hearing and spoke only to answer their names and deny the charge.

They are accused of conspiring between Jan. 1, 2004, and July 8, 2005, with the four suicide bombers to cause explosions likely to endanger life or cause serious harm and injury.

The three will face trial on March 31.

Mohammad Sidique Khan, Shehzad Tanweer, Jermaine Lindsay and Hasib Hussain killed themselves and 52 others when they exploded bombs on three underground trains and a bus in London on July 7, 2005.
