Whitchester Christian Guest House and Retreat

Whitchester is a unique combination of 3-star guest house and Christian retreat centre. This former Dower House of the Buccleuch Estate was re-furbished in 2003 to provide a balance between modern convenience and a 19th century country house. Although we are not affiliated to any denomination, we have long-standing links with the local churches in Hawick and the surrounding areas. As a Guest House our doors are open to all - those of any faith or none.
