Description The Big Cell material, starting with Children in the Bible, was conceived in idea during the preparations for Spring Harvest 2002. Each cell has a Wise-Person who doesn't lead the Cell sessions, but rather is on hand for help and guidance. History Makers is designed to encourage children to become world Christians, aware of God's big plan of History, and active in discovering how they can fit in.
Each session includes true stories of children in the UK or beyond who are making a difference.
Although this material is a curriculum programme, the aim is for Cell values to be imparted such as member care, participation by all, discovering gifts etc.
The material uses the four 'W' structure so well known round the world in cell contexts and this structure is very child friendly as it enables pre-teen children to learn to lead others, whether peers or those 1-2 years younger, in very byte sized chunks!
